Academy Gallery

UnderIOSExhibit-14The Academy Gallery houses a series of rotating exhibits at Discover Portsmouth. Admission to all exhibits is free. Built in 1810, this two-story space complements both fine art and sculpture. The Academy has showcased popular and intriguing exhibits such as Maritime Portsmouth and UNDER the Isles of Shoals: Archaeology on Smuttynose Island. These summer hits are always free to the public and offer an artistic glimpse into Portsmouth’s past.
