Exhibitions of her paintings include numerous galleries throughout the northeast as well as Florida, Japan, and Montreal, Canada. Galleries in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont represent her work. She has received several grants and commissions, including two from the Elizabeth Greenshields Painting Award and several New Hampshire Arts Council Public Arts Commissions.

In 2012 she began selling notecards, calendars, and archival prints of her flower paintings to retail stores and galleries with her business, Amy Brnger Art and Paperworks. She also teaches workshops at her Button Factory studio and other locations.

Amy has also worked for many years in education, providing counseling and mentoring to students in need. When she is not painting, she works part-time for Futures at Portsmouth High School, mentoring first generation college-bound students.

Over the years she has painted and won over 50 awards for a variety of series in oil and pastel, including paintings of Greece, Italy, France, Mexico… and Amusement Parks (which is another country in itself).

Donna teaches oil painting at her studio, and Plein Air classes along the Maine and NH coast.
