FAQ

Are your event spaces available all year round?

We are pleased to offer our many historic buildings and grounds for event rentals from April through December. Our program room is available year-round.

What is your capacity?

With three different rental spaces avialiable, we can hold up to 200 guests. Our program room capacity is 85 people.

What are your rates?

With many different options the best way to get a specific rate is to contact us directly. Rentals begin at $400 and can go up to $3,000 or more depending on the number of guests and lenght of event.

Can I use my own caterer?

Yes! We are also happy to provide a list of reccomend caterers.

Can I schedule a site visit?

Yes, please email events@portsmouthhistorical.org to set up a time.

Please remember we are a museum and may have more restrictions than other venues. Our first priority is preservation of our buildings and collections and our restrictions may not work for your event.
